So I guess happiness should be a sort of contemplative state of mind in perfect balance with Physis. Not too much nor too less.. Ok…yes, the golden mean, although that is more Plato than Aristotle, is it not? Particularly in reference to the virtue of temperance. Yet at the same time, can we speak of too much prudence or wisdom? Happiness may very well include a contemplative state of mind, but also flourishing of the body and material well being as well. I think it is the same with happiness.
